World Rally Championship calendar for the 2024 season
Rallying is a type of motor sport in which participants compete in specially prepared vehicles over a variety of routes, including asphalt, gravel and dirt roads.
The main features of the rally include:

1. Stages and special stages: Rallies consist of many stages, which are called special stages. These stages can take place both on roads closed to normal traffic and on specially prepared tracks.

2. Various types of surfaces: Rally courses can include roads with different surfaces - from asphalt and gravel to dirt and snow. This makes rallying one of the most diverse and challenging forms of motorsport.

3. Co-driver and pilot: In a rally, the car is driven by the pilot, and the co-driver (navigator) assists the pilot by reading road notes and indicating the direction of travel.
4. Cars: Rallying uses specially prepared cars with heavy-duty suspension, powerful engines and reinforced roll cages to withstand the extreme conditions of racing.

5. Popular Competitions: One of the most famous and prestigious rally competitions is the World Rally Championship (WRC), which attracts leading car teams and drivers from all over the world.

Rallying requires participants to have excellent coordination, quick reactions and the ability to adapt to changing track conditions.
